Abstract | ||||
Osiris is considered one of the most famous and important ancient Egyptian deities, around whom the basic beliefs revolved around the other world. He is one of the oldest gods of the dead. Almost no cemetery from the tombs of individuals in this era is devoid of scenes of this idol, whether scenes of worship or ritual scenes, which deserve to be singled out for an independent study in a vertical way so that the aims of this paper to study the shapes, costumes and places in which Osiris was depicted, it differed from one cemetery to another, as it differed from one family to another during the period of the New Kingdom. This study to study the stages of the development of the deity Osiris, then the most important scenes of the deity Osiris in the eighteenth dynasty, the most important scenes of the deity Osiris in the nineteenth dynasty the most important scenes of the deity Osiris in the twentieth dynasty, and finally the analytical and comparative study among the scenes of the Osiris. | ||||
