Abstract | ||||
Biomass waste (calcium carbonate) nanoparticles were prepared from eggshell waste using ball mill treatment and characterized. These particles made from waste eggshell derived into nano calcium carbonate (WESNCC) were developed that could be easily integrated and effectively dispersed into polymers. Fire tests like ignitability, limiting oxy-index, and thermal stability were carried out using wood specimens painted with polymers where specimens showed good properties in fire retarding. | ||||
