Abstract | ||||
Natural compounds derived from plant extracts have a considerable role in the control of fungal serious diseases. Recent approaches investigate, antifungal protective roles from natural sources and recommend their effects relative to synthetic compounds. The motive of this research is to compare between methanol, dichloromethane and water extracts of fifteen plant extracts against various endophytic fungal isolates. Antifungal activitieswere measured using hole - plate diffusion method. Results showed that methanol extract exhibit the most significant activity followed by dichloromethane, while, water extract exhibited the least activity. Artemisia herba-alba methanol extractwas highest active against Aspergillus niger isolated from Zee seeds. In conclusion, this study recommended the use of these plant extracts as a potent antifungal agent. | ||||
