Abstract | ||||
This study aimed to identify "ChatGPT" And studying his capabilities and skills when designing scientific research, starting from the title of the research and ending with results and recommendations. its credibility as a reference for researchers,and studying future concerns and challenges resulting from the use of "ChatGPT" in scientific research from the perspective of experts Library and information professionals.To achieve the objectives of the study,the analytical descriptive approach was used to describe the capabilities of "ChatGPT" in designing scientific research through the researcher's own experience. The study also relied on the forward-looking approach based on the use of the Delphi Method, in order to find out the expectations and predictions of experts specialized in the field of libraries and information towards one of the artificial intelligence tools ChatGPT. The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which are: The expert sample agreed on the need for a mechanism in specialized journals to discover ChatGPT in research, with by 96%. The sample also agreed that ChatGPT is an assistant for researchers, with by 86%While the expert sample agreed on how much ChatGPT saves timeChatGPT by 92%the most important recommendations of the study: Universities and publishing houses in light of artificial intelligence tools "ChatGPT" should adopt a newmechanism in Determine the publishing conditions to ensure that theses and submitted research are written by their authors and not through ChatGPT, and that ChatGPT supports the Arabic language better than the English language. | ||||
