Abstract | ||||
The mutual information is a measure of the dependence of two random variables. We propose an extension of this notion to measure the dependence between the inactivity lifetimes of two systems, given that both systems have failure at time t. Some properties and examples of application of such measure are presented. We consider a dynamic measure of inaccuracy between two reversed residual lifetime, and its properties have been studied. | ||||
