Abstract | ||||
We introduce a new better than used average at specific age (NBUA-t0) class of life distributions, where the survival probability at age 0 is greater than or equal to the conditional survival probability at specific age t0. The dual class of new worse than used average at specific age (NWUA- t0) life distributions is defined by reversing the direction of the inequality. Closure of the NBUA- t0 class under formation of parallel systems are given. Shock model where shocks are arriving according to homogeneous Poisson go process are established. | ||||
