Abstract | ||||
In this paper, two approximate confidence bounds on the reliability, of a serial system composed of two independent subsystems, each having two parameter exponential time to failure data, are considered. Extensions for approximate fiducial bounds by Grubbs (1971) and Confidence Limits by Engelhardt and Bain (1978) are derived. Numerical examples are given and comparisons made with these confidence bounds. | ||||
