| Abstract | ||||
| The implementation of an ERP system in higher education institutions in Egypt is strongly advised as it presents a range of benefits. This comprehensive guide aims to provide practical advice on how to successfully implement ERP systems in the Egyptian higher education sector while addressing the unique challenges that may arise. The guide emphasizes the significance of enterprise architecture in supporting the implementation process. ERP systems have gained popularity in the education sector for their ability to effectively manage complex business processes and data. However, implementing an ERP system is a complex endeavour that necessitates careful planning and execution. The guide recognizes the challenges specific to the Egyptian higher education sector, such as a lack of process standardization, limited technical resources, and cultural differences. It stresses the importance of adopting an enterprise architecture approach to overcome these challenges and ensure a successful implementation.
