| Abstract | ||||
| القبارى هى منطقة أثرية تقع ضمن نطاق الجبانة الغربية بالإسکندرية، وأجريت بها عدة حفائر وأستخرج منها العديد من القطع الأثرية الهامة، وأجرى العالم الألمانى جريم Grimm حفائر بمنطقة القبارى عام 1973 والتى أسفرت عن الکشف على مجموعة رائعة من المسارج الفخارية متعددة الأنماط وترجع لفترة زمنية طويلة تمتد من العصر الهللينستى، وحتى العصر الروماني المتأخر، وذلک أضفى عليها قدرا کبيرا من الأهمية بالإضافة إلى أن هذه المجموعة لم تدرس ولم تنشر من قبل، فهى بذلک تشکل مادة خصبة لمعرفة أنماط وأنواع المسارج وتأريخها فى مصر خلال العصرين البطلمى والرومانى . تعرف المسرجة في اللغة اليونانية بکلمة ليخنوس λυχνος، أما کلمة لمبا λαμπας فکانت تطلق على المشاعل، في حين عرفت المسارج في اللغة اللاتينية باسم Lychnus وهي کلمة مشتقة من الکلمة اليونانيةLucerna ، والمشتقة من کلمة Lux والتي تعنى الضوء. تتناول هذه الدراسة المسارج التى أسفرت عنها حفائر جريم لعام 1973، وقد بلغ عددها نحو ثلاثون مسرجة متعددة الأنماط، وتتميز بتنوعها فنيا، وتشغل فترة زمنية طويلة لذلک فقد تم تصنيف هذه المجموعة من المسارج إلى طرز" تصنيف نوعى" من حيث شکل المسرجة أو زخرفتها، وقد تم عرض لهذه الطرز وکل طراز يتضمن وصف للمسارج الخاصة به من حفائر القبارى والتى تتضمنها الدراسة مزودا برقم السجل والأبعاد والمادة واللون والتأريخ. يتبع هذه الدراسة الوصفية دراسة تحليله تتناول بشيء من التفصيل هذه المجموعة من المسارج حيث أنها تتسم بالتنوع والثراء سواء من حيث أنها تنتمي لثلاث فترات زمنية وهما: الفترة الهللينستية – الفترة الانتقالية – الفترة الرومانية، وکل فترة تضم مجموعة من الطرز المتنوعة لمسارج القبارى حيث وصل إجمالى عدد الطرز للفترات الثلاث إلى إثنى عشر طراز وکل طراز يختلف عن الأخر ويتميز عنه بزخارفه. وصل إجمالي عدد الطرز للفترات الثلاث إلى إثنى عشر طراز وکل طراز يختلف عن الأخر ويتميز عنه بزخارفه، فالمسارج الهللينستية تحتوي على أربعة طرز هما: 1- طراز مسارج کروية الشکل. 2- طراز مسارج ذات نتوء جانبي. 3- طراز مسارج ذات زائدة فوق الکتف. 4- طراز مسارج القنفذ الأخينوس Echinus. أما مسارج الفترة الانتقالية بين العصرين الهللينستى والروماني فکانوا طرازين: الطراز الأول: مسارج بشکل زهرة. الطراز الثاني: - مسارج الأکتاف Shoulder lamps واشتملت المسارج الرومانية على 6طرز: 1- مسارج بفوهات مثلثة على جانبيها حلزونيين. 2- مسارج بفوهات دائرية على جانبيها حلزونيين. 3- مسارج الضفدعة " Frog style". 4- مسارج ذات فوهة قصيرة. 5- مسارج ذات قناة عريضة تربط بين الفوهة والقرص. 6- مسارج تحمل زخرفة صليب. أما من حيث المادة المصنوعة منها هذه المجموعة من المسارج، والتقنية المستخدمة في الصناعة کذلک الموضوعات المصورة عليها، والعناصر الزخرفية سواء النباتية أو الهندسية وأيضا العلامات والأختام على المسارج. يلى ذلک الخاتمة وأهم النتائج حيث يتضح أن هذه المجموعة من مسارج القبارى تتميز بالتنوع سواء من الناحية الفنية أو تقنية الصناعة، وأيضاً الموضوعات المصورة عليها حيث تنوعت المواد الخام التي استخدمت في صناعة المسارج وکان من أهمها طينة طمي النيل والطينة الکلسية، کما صنعت هذه المجموعة من المسارج بطريقتين هما: العجلة الفخارية والقوالب. ومن الملاحظ أيضاً تنوع العلامات والأختام على هذه المجموعة من المسارج رغم قلتها وکانت توضع في مصر على المسرجة بطريقتين غائرة أو بارزة. کما تتميز هذه المجموعة من المسارج بأن بها مسارج من إنتاج مدرسة الإسکندرية وأخرى ذو انتاج مصري خالص، والبعض الأخر مسارج مقلدة للمسارج المستوردة. والخلاصة هنا أن دراسة هذه المجموعة من مسارج القبارى قد قدمت حفظاً علمياً ونشراً أثرياً لتلک القطع الغير منشورة والمحفوظة حالياً في المخزن المتحفي بماريا بالإسکندرية. Abstract: Al- kabbari is a monumental region, which belongs to the western necropolis in Alexandria. Many excavations, on the Site, have revealed important pieces. In the 1973 excavations, held by the German archaeologist Grimm, revealed a fine group of pottery lamps, with various types. It belongs to a quite long period, from the Hellenistic period to the late Roman; thus, it is of considerable value. As well as, it neither was studied nor published before .So we can say that it provides us with a rich material, to know all about its types, style and dating. The word " lamp" means λυχνος in Greek , where as " torch" means λαμπας , while in Latin " lamp" means " lychnus" which is derived from Lucerna and Lux which means "light". This study sheds light upon the thirty lamps revealed by the excavations (held in 1973).They've various types and artistic versions .since this group cover a long interval of time , So it has been classified this group of lamps to embroider "typology" in terms of form lamps or decoration, has been introduced for these models and each model includes a description of the lamps its own excavations kabbari, which included the study is equipped with a number record, dimensions, material, color and history. This is followed by the study descriptive study analyzed addresses in some detail this group of lamps where it is characterized by diversity and richness of both where they belong to the three time periods, namely the period Hellenistic- the interim period - the period Romania, and each period includes a range of styles varied lamps kabbari where totaled the number of models for periods of three to twelve types every type different from the other features and style of decoration. a) the Hellenistic lamp types: 1- The globular lamp. 2- The side – knob lamp 3- The one with redundant on shoulder. 4- The Echinus lamp. b) Where as for the interim period (between the Hellenistic and roman periods). 1- The flower – from lamp. 2- The shoulder lamp. c) and the roman lamps include six types: 1- The lamp with triangular spouts on each spiral. 2- The lamp with circular spouts on each side spiral side. 3- The frog style lamp. 4- The short spout lamp. 5- The lamp with a broad tubular link (between the spout and the disc). 6- The lamp with a cross- motif decoration. After the previously mentioned descriptive study, an analytic stuoly is held, mentioning the details of each element separately, because this group hasn't been published before. These details concern the fabrics, the manufacturing techniques, the scenes depicted on lamps and the decorative motifs (both floral &geometrical, signs and stamps, which all appear on the lamps. Were as in whole of great importance. At last, an epilogue is followed. it concludes the results & shows that Al- kabbari lamps were of a great variant ; concerning the artisical & technical aspects , also its material verified , since it consisted mainly of Nile clay and lime clay . Moreover these lamps were manufactured by the pottery wheel or the mould. We can see also that signs and stamps were various, although few in number. They were put in Egypt according to two manners; whether in relief or profile. This group of lamps belong to Alexandria school, while anther were totally of Egyptian style, where as some others were copied from the imported forms. Therefore, we can conclude that this study was a scientific registration &an archaeological publishing for these pieces, which are preserved now in the museum warehouse of Maria in Alexandria. | ||||
