Abstract
لا احد ينكر ان الاطفال ذوي اضطراب التوحد لديهم مشكلات معرفية شديدة تؤثر على قدرتهم على التقليد والفهم والمرونة والابداع لتشكيل وتطبيق القواعد والمبادئ الاساسية واستعمال المعلومات ويحاول العلماء المعرفيون إلقاء الضوء على العيوب المعرفية عند الاطفال ذوي اضطراب التوحد ويرى البعض ان المشكلة الرئيسية هي في تغيير ودمج مدخلات من الحواس المختلفة . يختلف الاطفال المصابون بالتوحد من حيث مستواهم العقلي فالغالبية 75% يعانون من الإعاقة الفكرية اما النسبة الباقية 25% والتي يطلق عليهم ذوي الاداء المرتفع ، فهم يعانون ايضاً من العجز الاجتماعي والانفعالي ولكن لا يعانون من العجز المعرفي كما ان لديهم بعض القدرة على الحديث مع الاخرين وهؤلاء يمكنهم في المستقبل الالتحاق ببعض الوظائف التي تتطلب انتباهاً للتفاصيل او تفاعلاً اجتماعيا محدود مثل العمل في مكتبة او تشغيل ماكينة مفاتيح ويستطيعون القيام بأداء هذه الوظائف على نحو مقبول .
No one denies that children with autism disorder have severe cognitive problems that affect their ability to imitate, understand, be flexible, and be creative, to form and apply basic rules and principles, and to use information. Cognitive scientists are trying to shed light on the cognitive defects in children with autism disorder, and some believe that the main problem is in changing and integrating inputs. From different senses. Children with autism differ in terms of their mental level. The majority, 75%, suffer from intellectual disability, while the remaining 25%, which are called high-functioning people, also suffer from social and emotional deficits, but they do not suffer from cognitive deficits. They also have some ability to talk to others, and they In the future, they can take on some jobs that require attention to detail or limited social interaction, such as working in a library or operating a key machine, and they can perform these jobs in an acceptable manner
