Abstract | ||||
The study aimed to analyze the impact of digital transformation on the efficiency of services provided to citizens through technology centers in local government units as one of the important projects aimed at determining the reality of digital transformation as a strategy for developing electronic service programs, identifying its benefits and technologies, and identifying obstacles facing the implementation of the digital transformation strategy and proposals that help On activating the role of the government digital transformation system, and the study determined the reality of digital transformation as a strategy for the development of government service programs. The field study explored the opinion of a sample of officials and workers in the technology centers of local units, as well as users of those electronic services, through a survey list designed to test hypotheses for the purpose of environmental and economic evaluation of the digital transformation system. The study concluded that there is a positive impact of the digital transformation system on the environment and the economy, with the existence of challenges to implement the system, such as the lack of knowledge of citizens about digital services and the lack of funding and training necessary for workers and providers of those services to the citizen. | ||||
