Abstract | ||||
The current research aims to develop skills and awareness of the integrated water resources management system among the employees of the National Water Research Center using an investigative approach. This is done through the implementation of a training program for the employees. The study employed the Integrated Water Resources Management Awareness Scale and the Integrated Water Resources Management Skills Scale. At the end of the program, both the awareness and skills scales were re-administered to the study sample. The study found statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample in the pre- and post-application of the skills scale, indicating a positive effect of the post-application. Similarly, there were statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the research sample in the pre- and post-application of the awareness scale, indicating a positive effect of the post-application. The research aims to enhance the awareness and skills of integrated water resources management among the employees of the National Water Research Center. The experimental approach based on a one-group pretest-posttest design was utilized, where the research tools were applied to the same group. These tools include: The Integrated Water Resources Management Awareness Scale. The Integrated Water Resources Management Skills Scale. The training program based on the application of the investigative strategy according to the integrated water resources management system. | ||||
