Abstract | ||||
Our research deals with the following topic, which is (the development of the border conflict within the framework of the issue of Halayeb and Shalateen between 1992 AD and until 2020 AD) based on the principle of good neighborliness, and in order to preserve the fraternal ties between the two countries - Egypt and Sudan - it is necessary to address the knowledge of such a border dispute. Almost 33 years after the first conflict of Halayeb in 1958 AD, the conflict broke out again, but in a stronger way than its predecessor. In the year 1992 AD, this conflict appeared on the international scene again, and it had factors that led to its outbreak again, and it developed until it reached its visit in the year 1995 AD when he tried The assassination of former President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, and during that period the Egyptian and Sudanese side took steps to confirm their ownership right to the Halayeb triangle, and the situation remained between calm and tension until the outbreak of the Egyptian people’s revolution on January 25, 2011 AD, and the July 30 revolution, 2013 AD. We presented the current research, including two topics: the first topic will deal with the knowledge of the second conflict of the Halayeb triangle area in 1992 AD and its developments, and the second topic will deal with the situation of the border dispute after the revolutions of January 25 and July 30. | ||||
