Abstract | ||||
This research aimed to propose an executive action plan to develop the knowledge of honey bee breeders who were interviewed about the recommendations items related to disease control in Qalyubia governorate by achieving the following objectives: identifying the most important characteristics of the respondents, and identifying the level of knowledge of honey bee breeders of the respondents about the recommendations items related to disease control, o identify the correlation between the knowledge of the Honey Bee Breeders surveyed with the items of recommendations for disease control and the studied independent variables, and to achieve these goals, a questionnaire was designed, the data of which was collected through a personal interview with a sample of 170 respondents of honey bee breeders in Qalyubia Governorate, data were collected during the last quarter of 2022, and repetitions, percentages, and averages were used to present the results and the simple correlation coefficient (Pearson) was used. Results: The decrease in the average age of the majority of the respondents who are honey beekeepers, where 65.3% of them were of young to medium age. The educational level of the respondents increased, as 78.82% of them had higher and intermediate qualifications. Decrease in the average hive production of honey per year for the majority of the respondents, as 75.3% of them had low to medium production. 23.5% of the respondents fall into the category of those with low knowledge of technical recommendations for disease control, 41.8% of them fall into the category of those with medium knowledge | ||||
