| The paper is about two specific methods of using the lance as a weapon of war, in training and on the battlefield. The first method is called "Tsdyd al-Tġrī al-Mḥdt", and the second is called "Tsdyd al-Šāmī or al-Rūmī". The paper examines a particular extracted literature and its sources, the training scheme as instructed in the manuals and the one devised, for both horse and rider, on these specific maneuvers. The paper also highlights the importance of considering the abilities and limitations of both horse and rider in the interpretation of instructions as mentioned in all extant Furūsīyah treatises. تُعنى هذه الورقة البحثية بطريقتين محددتين لاستخدام الرمح كسلاح في التدريب وعلى ميدان المعركة. تسمى الطريقة الأولى "التسديد التُّغْري المُهْدَد" والثانية تسمى " التسديد الشَّامِي أو الرُّومي". كما يستنبط البحث أدبًا مستخرجًا معينًا ومصادرَه، ومخطط التدريب كما هو مُوصَى به في الكتيبات والمخطط الذي تم ابتكاره، لكل من الحصان والفارس، على هذه المناورات المحددة. كما تسلط الورقة البحثية الضوء أيضًا على أهمية مراعاة قدرات وحدود كل من الحصان والفارس في تفسير التعليمات كما هو مذكور في جميع رسائل الفروسية الباقية. | ||||
