Abstract | ||||
During the reign ofthe emperor Antoninus Pius, Egypt received attention.As a state of the Roman Empire, which resulted in a lot of artistic works such as architectural and religious buildings, sculptures, Alexandrian coins, etc.which have their own characteristics, and these features can be used to know the dates of these works, and many of these works are still in good condition. This paperparticularly concerned with studying the Sculptures of the emperor Antoninus Pius, that were found in Egypt. This study includes an introduction, then a historical overview of the emperor Antoninus Piusduring his reign,followed by a descriptive study of some of Antoninus Pius sculptures that have been found in Egypt,Whether formal sculptures or religiousreliefs, In addition toresearch analysis of these works, Which is to display its technical features, followed by a conclusion, a list of referencesanda list of figures. | ||||
