Abstract | ||||
This paper explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in the field of design, specifically in building the design process. The focus is on cognitive design concepts, which include understanding users' cognitive processes to create effective designs. The paper discusses how AI can enhance the design process by providing designers with insights into user behavior and preferences, while also examining the challenges associated with using AI in design, such as potential bias and the need for effective human-AI collaboration. The optimal use of design sciences involves overlapping innovative human thought and good composition. The paper argues that if AI techniques are used in building this process, it will benefit the designer, the user, and the design process. However, it also highlights the need to carefully consider the ethical and social implications of AI in design. To strike a balance between the use of AI and human input, effective collaboration is necessary to ensure that the final design is efficient and meets users' needs. The research follows an analytical approach by monitoring and analyzing a set of examples of a group of products in light of the overlapping of cognitive concepts in the design process and studying the role of AI applications and their impact on the design process. | ||||
