Abstract | ||||
Lean Production and Six Sigma are the most popular and widely used strategies by companies that seek continuous improvement, and creating competitive advantage. The pharmaceutical sector is one of the most important sectors to maintain the quality and efficiency of all its operations, but according to the current study, Egyptian pharmaceutical companies must try to distinguish themselves by deployment of LSS as a strategic resource for problem solving. This research aims to develop a Lean six sigma Framework to create a competitive advantage. To achieve that aim, a research strategy consisted of literature review and questionnaire is designed to gather data sufficiently rich to cover the research topics and investigate the perception and application of pharmaceutical companies towards implementing lean six sigma as a strategic HRM role as an approach for creating competitive advantage. Although only SEDICO was surveyed as a case study, other companies that share similar characteristics will benefit from the application of the framework towards creating competitive advantage. | ||||
