Abstract | ||||
Abstract Background: Most of CKD children on hemodialysis have a probable psychiatric disorder and poor quality of life which can easily impact the family members’ psychological health.(Panzarino et al., 2022) Purpose: The aim of this study is to asses aggressive behavior in children with chronic kidney disease on regular dialysis and its correlation with children with chronic kidney disease not on regular dialysis. Methods: This is cross sectional study was conducted upon100 children with CKD on regular dialysis aged 6-18 years old (Group I), and100 children with chronic kidney disease not on regular dialysis (group II) who attended the outpatient nephrology clinic& dialysis unit and pediatric nephrology department Results: our results show that there was higher frequency of clinical significance of aggressive behavioral disorders in children with CKD on regular dialysis than children with CKD not on regular dialysis. Conclusions: Higher incidence of aggressive behavior was reported in children with CKD On regular dialysis | ||||
