Abstract | ||||
Al-Qusayr Castle has played a historical role since the era of the gloomy Ottoman Sultan Selim, and its history includes architecture in the construction of the castle as a military fortress and a center for the movement of trade and the provision of services to pilgrims. The research paper aims to study the geo-archaeological castle in order to show the role of environmental impact in drawing the surrounding places and how humans interact with what is around it in the environment to practice its activities and establish its urban shops and the extent of its impact on the occurrence of land change and determine its policies to provide sustainability. The impact of various weathering processes represents a great danger to the castle and the identification of important policies for sustainability and the preservation of cultural heritage enhances national belonging.
