Abstract: This paper presents a novel algorithm for adequacy assessment of electrical distribution system including distributed generation. A comparison between the proposed technique and the state duration sampling technique is performed. The proposed technique is integrated with Monte Carlo simulation method to carry out reliability analysis of typical distribution system. The results obtained are presented and discussed. | ||||
