Abstract | ||||
The researcher has studied analytically the news websites (CNN, BBC, Sky News, Al Arabiya, Sabq, Akhbar Al-Aan, Al Sharq Al Awsat, News 24, Urgent), in terms of formal features, objective characteristics, and the foundations of their news coverage. The study demonstrated the interest of the news sites in using persuasive forms and methods most notably interactive methods, the most prominent of which was the possibility of sharing the news, commenting on it, and the possibility of liking the news, which indicates the interest of the sample of the analytical study in general in the opinions of users and recording their impressions on the news presented. Likewise, these sites used persuasion methods to support the news, primarily; Citing current events and keeping up with events, as well as providing evidence and evidence to support the news which indicates the interest of the sites sampled in the analytical study in attracting users, through technical and objective methods. The analytical study also demonstrated that the most important issue addressed by the news sites was: Political issues, conflicts, demonstrations, and social issues. | ||||
