Abstract | ||||
The researcher conducted this study to explore the leisure pursuits and their correlation with emotional intelligence among Ministry of Youth and Sports personnel. Utilizing a descriptive approach, the researcher employed custom-designed questionnaires to collect data on leisure activities and emotional intelligence. The study encompassed 225 Ministry employees for the primary investigation and 50 for the pilot study. Key findings indicated a widespread awareness of leisure activities among university staff, with internet browsing being particularly popular. Additionally, the study revealed a moderate level of engagement in leisure activities and emotional intelligence among employees, along with a positive association between participation in leisure activities and emotional intelligence. Search goal: The research seeks to uncover the correlation between recreational hobbies and emotional intelligence among Ministry of Youth and Sports employees, by answering the following questions: 1- What is the level of Recreational hobbies of employees at the Ministry of Youth and Sports? 2- What is the level of the Emotional intelligence of employees at the Ministry of Youth and Sports? 3- What is the correlation between recreational hobbies and emotional intelligence for employees at the Ministry of Youth and Sports? 4- What is the significance of differences in recreational hobbies and emotional intelligence among employees at the Ministry of Youth and Sports attributed to (gender, qualification, years of experience)? | ||||
