Abstract | ||||
Annular energy distribution, AED is a concept deduced from radial dose, RD, that enables estimating the distribution of secondary electrons in a given medium due to ion bombardment. The AED for 337 ions impeded in some distinct targets with biological nature or used in electronic circuits estimated. Gallium arsenide (GaAs), Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3), Pancreas and Thyroid targets investigated for different equal LET groups of ions of the same LET (keV/μm). AED, shell annular energy distribution, SAED, the corresponding maximum annular energy width, rMAEW, and the total annular energy distribution for different targets per nm, TAED for those ions in these different targets determined. | ||||
