| Abstract | ||||
| This study aimed to improve the psychological resilience of a sample of children with type 1 diabetes in late childhood. The study standards were applied and the program for improving the psychological resilience of children with type 1 diabetes was used (prepared by: researchers). The results showed that children with high resilience to type 1 diabetes achieved better results in blood sugar levels within the required target and enjoyed a better quality of life. The results of this study also indicated higher average scores for the experimental group than the control group in the measurement after applying the program on a scale. The psychological resilience of the children in relation to the experimental group, the increase in the average scores of the experimental group in the post-measurement on the psychological resilience scale, the presence of statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the scores of the experimental group of children with diabetes in the two measurements before and after applying the program in the percentage of glycated hemoglobin in the blood, in the trend of the post-measurement: the average scores of the experimental group in the post-measurement decreased compared to the pre-measurement for the application of the program in the percentage of glycated hemoglobin in the blood.
