Abstract | ||||
Entrepreneurship is a necessary trend that indicates societal awareness, because of the weak capacity to employ graduates in government and private institutions. It is classified into small, scalable, large companies, and social entrepreneurship. Due to the great competition, different methodologies must be followed to make such projects successful. One of these methodologies is following the STEM system when designing products, which is a creative educational system based on problem-solving skills by combining (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to enable students to possess the necessary skills to qualify them to undertake entrepreneurial projects after Graduation, by applying some methods that contribute to the success of entrepreneurial projects, such as: innovation and problem solving - technological competence - understanding the market - ability to adapt - access to financing and support. The skills and capabilities of design students can be raised to meet the needs of target markets considering the current economic problems. The research problem is the inability of new products resulting from youth projects to successfully penetrate local markets. Therefore, the research aims to make entrepreneurship successful for future designers by meeting customer needs and providing products with multiple benefits, by using the STEM system. The importance of the research is due to the application of modern methodology to reach innovative designs that satisfy the ambitions of designers and meet the needs of customers to make the projects of designer entrepreneurs successful. The research follows the analytical experimental method. | ||||
