| ABSTRACT Applying digital documentation best practices helps to reflect collections' intangible and tangible values. Therefore, museums must adhere to the best practices in digital documentation, being a dynamic space that can enhance its collections' information dimensions. Appropriate digital documentation of museum collections leads to the creation of accurate, reliable, and correct data that ensure and illustrate the information included in various digital documentation systems. The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) collections are intended to illustrate the broad story of ancient Egypt, deepening its context in the information and technology era. Digital documentation aspects of the GEM must be comparable to its physical collections to be of comparable value. This study explores the current issues facing digital documentation at GEM. It aims to determine and investigate how the GEM's digital documentation policies and practices form its collections' knowledge paradigms. It aims to shape fresh and updated insights about the ways in which digital documentation in GEM can be reimagined. This will form comprehensive knowledge models in line with contemporary theoretical, educational, and public access interests. | ||||
