Abstract: The study aimed to identify the theoretical and intellectual foundations of open educational courses (MOOCs) in contemporary administrative and educational literature, to reveal the theoretical reality of developing the performance of the principals of primary schools in Fayoum Governorate in the light of official documents and decisions, and to develop proposed recommendations to activate the role of open educational courses (MOOCs) to develop the performance of principals of primary schools in Fayoum Governorate, The study was limited to the principals of primary school schools concerned with the application of development efforts in their management and includes the leaders of the school (principal and agent) in Fayoum governorate, and the study reached a set of recommendations, including: Identify the training needs through a field form distributed to all teachers and principals of primary schools to know and identify them, and take them into account in the next session, provide the necessary infrastructure, from computers and high-speed Internet, to complete the necessary training process within each school, Provide content for the development of the performance of the principals of primary education schools in line with the changes and events that exist in light of international crises and current events. | ||||
