Abstract | ||||
The quality of life is divided into an objective part that is based on data and statistics and is linked to measures that the state sees as a subjective part that reflects the satisfaction and happiness of individuals. The problem of slums in Egypt, especially Cairo, is one of the problems that are of great interest to researchers and the state. Therefore, this study deals with methods of evaluating slums through some urban and environmental indicators derived from the available data either through the digital map or through the Central Organization for Census and Population. Through these data, spaces and buildings were defined according to their uses, population size and census. By integrating the data, some objective indicators have been developed that will help to assess the current situation of the study area as well as evaluate the planning intervention objectively | ||||
