Abstract | ||||
The study aimed to identify the most important areas in which NGOs are concerned, to identify their role in solving problems, and to identify the obstacles that face NGOs, and the most important proposals necessary to activate the role of NGOs to achieve that a questionnaire form is prepared. The results indicated that among the most important areas provided by these associations are providing in-kind aid and loans, to the needy and eradicating rural illiteracy. The beneficiaries also indicated that the associations provide many services in various fields such as educational, health, environmental, women, rural youth, sanitation, and the population problem. They also pointed out the obstacles facing the associations. The beneficiaries also indicated that one of the most important proposals necessary to activate the role of civil society associations in carrying out their work is to involve the people in identifying the problems existing in the village and their needs. Providing a suitable place for the association. The study recommends the following: 1-The need to establish legal mechanism to ensure that these organizations continue to provide services. 2-Civil society organizations must involve the people in identifying the problems and ways to solve them. -3 The Ministry of Social Solidarity must support civil society organizations to carry out their work. 4-The need to educate rural people to join these associations through the media. | ||||
