Abstract | ||||
The objective of the present study was designed to spot the light on the immunogenicity of locally prepared inactivated avian influenza virus (H5N1) vaccines supplemented with montanide ISA70 and ISA71 oils. Specific pathogen free (SPF) chicks at 21 days of age were vaccinated with locally prepared vaccines. Evaluation of cellular and humoral immune responses to AIV by using haemagglutination inhibition (HI) technique was measured till 48 weeks post vaccination. The results revealed that vaccination with the inactivated reassortant Avian Influenza H5N1 vaccine prepared using Montanide oil ISA 71 provides more immune-enhancement ensuring higher antibody titers and better immune response than those vaccines with Montanide ISA 70. | ||||
