Abstract | ||||
This article aims to determine the feasibility of a life model of social work for the developing of life skills for orphans. The sample includes 30 orphan in Ahmed Jabra Foundation for Boys Welfare in Qena who were randomly assigned, It was divided into an experimental group and another a control group (15 orphan in each group). Each group was asked to complete a life skills scale for orphans (pre-test). orphans in the experimental group were introduced to the a life model to build their life skills. The intervention lasted for 12 weeks. orphans in the experimental group and the control group completed the measures again (post-test). The results suggested that using a life model in social work is an effective method to improve the life skills for orphans. | ||||
