| Abstract | ||||
| The result of the actions of the Kharijites and the extremist Brotherhood was not limited to themselves but extended to include Islam and its people. Islam is a religion of moderation, moderation, tolerance and ease, peace, coexistence and dialogue. It is far from extremism and extremism, and the Islamic nation adheres to the approach of moderation in all matters without exaggeration or neglect But the Kharijites, in the past and in modern times, were a reason to change this tolerant image of Islam and Muslims, so they forced religion into politics, and made all their political differences religious differences, so they insulted Islam and distorted its image in the world until it was described as a religion of violence, terrorism and extremism, and they also falsified the awareness of the masses, and sought to sabotage Islamic countries and plunged them into a vortex of conflicts; to become an easy catch for its enemies; Which led to an increase in the number of non-believers (atheism), especially in the countries where they appeared for what they really are, and people saw violence and terrorism among them, so they rejected religion not for itself, but rather because they rejected these groups that claimed to represent Islam, and Islam is innocent of them. | ||||
