Demographic parameters, Anthropometric measurement, Laboratory analysis, and 24-hour recall were collected from 200 females between 20 and > 60 years of age. According to the body mass index (BMI), 39% of the studied sample were obese and 80% over obesity,63.5%possessed central obesity, The waist circumference revealed 41% at elevated risk and 71.5%at high risk, The waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) revealed 40% at very risk and 47% at increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease. In addition32% had high diastolic blood pressure and 31% had high systolic blood pressure. The biochemical tests revealed that 60.5%,63.5%, and 40% presented total cholesterol, triglyceride, and random blood glucose, respectively. The daily micronutrient intake of females living in Cairo was statistically indicated Different age groups are significantly affected by most of the variables. Daily energy and macronutrient intake of females live in Cairo. There is indicates significant difference between age groups as affected by most of their variable. There is a need for continuous nutritional education programs and monitoring of nutritional and health status to improve the quality the life of females | ||||
