Abstract | ||||
Design represents the best visual expression of the essence of things. Artistic glass, in its various fields, has several artistic elements that lead to the creation of innovative ideas for the shaping and implementation of artistic glass in its different forms. A glass designer must master the use of tools to express the relationship between shape and function. Specifically, the artistic glass designer must excel in this field, which is one of the most important areas of glass shaping, such as meeting human needs in the surrounding environment by employing glass in interior spaces, for example ( plates, pendants, etc.). Glass is a crucial element in interior design and furniture, and its use leads to the integration of the elements of interior space, enhancing its aesthetics. Additionally, it can be employed to meet personal human needs, such as in the field of glass jewelry, where artistic glass can also be used to fulfill personal aesthetic needs through decorative purposes (glass jewelry) and its accessories, aiming to achieve compatibility and harmony between the pieces and the anatomical positions of wear. The research problem lies in the need to demonstrate the role of collage art as an influential form in the design and shaping of artistic glass with innovative formulations. The aim of the research is to shed light on the most important aesthetic characteristics of collage art through an analytical study of certain modern and contemporary art trends and to benefit from them in the fields of artistic glass design. | ||||
