Abstract | ||||
The study aims to identify the seasonality of fish production study the obstacles facing and proposals for the development in Bardwell Lagoon. The results showed that the fishing season in Bardwell Lagoon extends from April to January next year, While in the remaining months of February and March, the period of fish growth. It also shows that the monthly percentage of total fish production is higher than the general average in May, June, October, November, and fall in other months, The monthly seasonal index ranged from a minimum of about 10.94% in January, and a maximum of about 221.81% during the month of May, and the seasonal factor reached about 20,28%. It was also found that the most varieties subjected to seasonal fluctuations Shrimp, Crab, Lute, Waqar, Denies, Arouse, Moses, and other fish, respectively. The Bory family fish are the least susceptible to seasonal fluctuations. | ||||
