Abstract | ||||
Abstract The effect of cross ribs and the rigidity of middle supports on the behavior of one way ribbed slabs were introduced in this paper. The 3D-FEM model through (ANSYS) program has been used to accomplish this study. The ultimate load, the cracking load, the strain of concrete, stress of steel and deflection of the analyzed slabs were calculated as well as mode of failure was observed. The optimum reinforcement, cross section and the location of cross rib as well as the effect of middle beam on the behavior of slabs were concluded. | ||||
