Abstract | ||||
The current research aims to investigate the effectiveness of blended learning models (flexible/flipped) in developing animation video production skills for students of the Professional Diploma in Educational Technology. The main experiment was conducted on a sample of 20 students (male and female) enrolled in the Professional Diploma in Educational Technology at the Faculty of Education, Tanta University, during the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample was divided into two groups, each consisting of 10 students. The blended learning environments (flexible/flipped) were designed according to the modified instructional design model of Abdel Latif Al-Jazzar (2013). The results revealed the superiority of the flipped blended learning group over the flexible blended learning group in the post-application of both the cognitive achievement test and the skill performance observation checklist related to animation video production skills. The study recommended the importance of utilizing blended learning models to enhance learners' knowledge and skills, improve their understanding of scientific concepts, and elevate their mastery level in producing animation videos and improving product quality. | ||||
