Abstract | ||||
A new series of 5-arylazo-3-cyano-2-pyridone scaffolds 5, 6 and 7 have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopic tools. The antibacterial activities of the synthesized pyridone scaffolds have been investigated; they exhibited good activities compared to the standard drugs. | ||||
