Abstract | ||
Cancer is a big health problem with high morbidity and mortality and possess both economic and phsychological challenges. The aim of the present study is to evaluate methanolic (80%) ginger extract for their anticancer activity using two cancer cell lines: hepatocellular carcinoma cell line (HePG2) and breast carcinoma cell line (MCF7). The results showed that ginger methanolic (extract 80%) exhibited a pronounced cytotoxic effect and was found to possess a very potent inhibitory activities against hepatocellular carcinoma cell line (HePG2) and breast carcinoma cell line (MCF7). | ||
