Abstract | ||||
The Ba houses, being a collection of pottery models (burnt clay) of simple work and religious funerary meaning placed above the tombs have appeared in the tombs and cemeteries of individuals since the end of the Old Kingdom until the Thirteen Dynasty, to serve the spirit of the deceased through a series of rituals causing the eternal life of the deceased in the afterlife. These houses have been found in many areas of Central and Upper Egypt, as well as Lower Nubia and oases. Three models of Ba houses are exhibited in the Agricultural Museum in Dokki dating back to the Middle Kingdom. | ||||
