Abstract | ||||
There are many plants in Egypt that have been neglected and reduced its cultivation, although they are renewable plants. When looking at the environment status and our consumption of limited resources, interior designers and architects are facing challenges to find alternatives to these resources and work to create an intellectual structure that contributes to the protection of the environment and supportthe sustainable industry through the adoption of clean industry and environmentally soundtechniques.Hence, the study analyzed the details of the relationship between manufacturing technology and the raw materials produced by shallow water plants such as bamboo.The importance of this paper is to study how to use bamboo as a substitute for wood and to use it to make alternative plant panels because it is an environmental raw material that needs a short time to cultivate with low cost, so, the principle of sustainability is applied to consolidate the foundations of new environmental thought in a more profound and natural way, and to rely on local, eco-friendly and low-cost design materials. The paper approach is based on the analytical study of the use of bamboo in various types, which are used in the design in its usual form or as manufactured. The study aims at shedding light on the bamboo as a degradable raw material and linking the interior architect and the agricultural research workers of raw materials and manufacturing fields to the work on a newly developed product | ||||
