Abstract | ||||
§Three variables influence the content, process and learning outcomes of higher education activities: Learning styles of students, teaching strategies, and the learning environment that blends education technology provided and democratic relations adopted. §Faculty members should be fully aware of the challenges affecting learning in digital age Egypt, and of the chronic process-content-dysfunction afflicting institutions of higher education at varying proportions. §Faculty members should thoroughly understand the paradigm shifts necessary to adjust to requirements of higher education in the digital twenty first century, and measures to take in order to accomplish the shifts. WHAT IS EFFECTIVE TEACHING & LEARNING ..? To accomplish effective teaching and learning , university faculty members need to : (MacGregor, 2007) ØAchieve the cognitive, psychomotor and affective objectives; Ø Qualify students to participate in social group team-work successfully; ØEnsure student engagement; ØDesign effective instruction . | ||||
