Abstract | ||||
The United Nations in September 2015 agreed on a new global Agenda to take the world on a sustainable pathway. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development involves 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) for countries to reach by 2030. The sustainable development goals are started to be implemented from January 2016 in all around the world. Implementationof SDGs needs executed policies built on facts and evidences. Chemistry plays a crucial role to provide most of the required data. The 17 goals of sustainable developments are containing variable topics. Chemistry and chemical research can participate in achievement many SDGs such as: clean water and sanitation – clean energy – industry and innovation – climate issues. Ordination of chemistry and chemical research towards sustainable topics is the main gateway to attain SDGs in the society. | ||||
