Abstract | ||||
Islamic architecture present a various useful details and elements through an aesthetic vision providing a proper function and merges in homogeneity with the surrounded built environment. Al Mashrabeyia (In Arabic) where is drinking water jars are kept, or Al Mashrafeyia (in Arabic) which it’s function simulating the terrace, is a witness of the architect’s creativity to create a semi transparent wall gives vision from inside to outside the space in parallel to keeping an inner proper privacy. Al Sehiemy house at Mamlouki Cairo includes a perfect study models of geometrical treatments used to shape the transparent walls. | ||||
