Abstract | ||||
As long as the architecture expressed the building purpose and uses, it also expressed believes and ideas of building users, which is very clear at Hanging Church at Misr Al Kadyima (Old Cairo Town). This church is witnessed a different eras since Christianity was born in Egypt till today, it’s walls holding history, believes and ideas worthy to be considered for architecture, history and heritage researchers. This research is discussing the Christianity history in Egypt, Coptic church as a worship space, when it was built, church zoning, how it was developed, most important Icons and drawings at the church walls. Research aims to highlight the expression of believes and ideas through spaces designing, decoration, and details. | ||||
