Abstract | ||||
The aim of this study is to propose a mechanism to evaluate the content of the full-text journals collections in both Egyptian Knowledge Bank and Saudi Digital Library. The researcher used the descriptive approach with survey and comparison tools, as well as some statistical tools to deal with the large data, to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the e-collections In both the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and the Saudi Digital Library. The study revealed that there are resources in the Saudi digital library that do not carry much value for the e-collection and can be discarded unless they were free. In contrast, the Egyptian Knowledge Bank is missing free open access resources that can be used to enrich its collection. | ||||
