Abstract | ||||
The study aims to throw light on benefits of the cloud as a new platform for management of knowledge content in digital libraries. The study used the analytical descriptive approach to identify the benefits and challenges of cloud computing to meet the new technical and social requirements of the knowledge society. The present results showed that cloud computing is the best option for the development of technology in the digital libraries with the lowest cost. In addition, a new layer in the cloud known as knowledge management as a service was also emerged | ||||
