Abstract | ||||
Four flavonoidal glycosides; viz. isorhamnetin-3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside, kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, isorhamnetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside and kaempferol-3-O(2glc-rhamnosylrutinoside), in addn. to the flavonoidal aglycons: Isorhamnetin and kaempferol have been isolated from the leaves of Alestonia scholaris R.Br. (Fam. Apocynaceae) for the first time. The structures of the isolated compds. were principally deduced by phys. and chromatog. characters as well as by spectroscopic analyses. | ||||
