This paper aims at showing how Hilary mantel in her novel "Eight months on Ghazzah street" (1988) utilizes threatening cultural "clash" between east and west; how she examine, the various frictions between the twocultures and how her novel provides conventional articulations of the east-west encounters. | ||||
